Email Marketing Cigar Empire

Cigar Empire is an interesting project for numerous of reasons. The first quest was to utilize what data collection there was as well as come up with a new way to make capturing new data efficient, effective and precise.

We accomplished this task by up grading the current POS system to a more modern system. For this particular case the client chose to go with a Clover system. Which was a phenomenal choice.

I would put this system up there with Square as far as my top two POS systems of choice. Both are great but have their own strong suits. I think Square has a prettier UI/UX and has some really great financial backing for your business at ease but I think the back end of Clover is perfectly simplified for truly anyone to use. I will link them both below.

Once the data collection began running, along side some minimal employee training, the new Clover System we were able to instantly and continually shows and continues to show growth in our newly acquired emails.

We then proceeded to come up with a strategy to turn data into profits while still providing our customers a sense of benefit for enrolling in our rewards program.

Thus was born the Monthly Cigar Empire Deals and News Letter

Before we integrated the deal I always encourage drawing the recipients in with a personal letter either written by the owner or written by my in the voice of the owner as shown above.

With the deals I always recommend including some sort of raffle or simple way to heighten customer participation.

Creating seasonal products is also a fun way to get customers interested in buy more while trying new products.

The more you can integrate yourself and/or your staff into the email the better chance you have to build a relationship with your customers.

With the combination and continuation of adding the deals and emails into the monthly revenue has and continues to grow by double digit percentiles MOM. We use the average transaction price as our main KPI and keep a translucency about it with our employees in order to create goals, increase sales as well as productivity.

The best part for last… This all can be done with a price tag lower than most part time employees per month or even cheaper if you have someone like me train you to do your own updates. Marketing with me is really a no brainer.
