My time at Elite was one where I wore many hats. I was far more than just a Marketing Manager. I was a commercial producer, video editor, photographer, graphic designer and even helped in hiring. However, as a marketing manager, I was tasked to take this construction company that had very little presence in the community and turn it into a power house. My strategy was to create our showroom and brand into a pillar for the community. I started by making us a sponsor of the Lobero Theatre. The Lobero Theatre was a hot spot for our demographic. Every show I went to there, I either saw one of our previous customers or was able to conversant with a lot potential new clients.

Next was the showroom. Being in Santa Barbara for most of my life I knew how important art was to the community. Looking around the showroom, I noticed we had a lot of wall space, so I put two and two together, and reached out to a couple local artist to come and hang their art in our showroom. Turning our showroom into a rotating gallery. Once I had secured my first artist, I did what came most natural, I held an art show! This was not only art show though. I reached out to Domestic Violence Solutions and created a silent auction to go along with the art show. I also topped everything off with live music, and free refreshments. I completed the whole thing for only $1200 dollars and we raised just over $2000 for DVS.
Video shot and edited by me as well
My event for DVS worked so well in creating brand awareness and bringing in clients we did it again in collaboration with SPARK rescue where we had an attendance of close to 250 people.

I had a lot of fun print projects while at Elite. Above is the digital version of a tri-fold I made. Scan it! It’s super cool!

Front of a mailer I made. Notice the sense of urgency I create by adding the date and using language such as exclusive.
This is a commercial I produced, shot, directed and edited that we ran on both local TV and on cable. We did a one two punch with the mailers to make sure there was no one in our demographic that was not aware of the sale we had going on.
A video for social media that I made that shows off a little more our work, my shooting and editing skills.
